During this event, the authorities pointed out the fact that once again palma de Mallorca becomes the yachting capital of the world having in its waters the top sailors and boats competing for the number one regatta in the world. More than 75 boats with the presence of several America´s Cup winners and challengers, Olimpic Gold medallists ans world championships winners.

All the presents expressed their appreciation for the actions developed by the Copa del Rey Agua Brava during these years, which open this excellent window of opportunity for Palma de Mallorca to become the better option to host the next edition of the America´s Cup.

Once again, the Spanis Royal Family will feature a relevant role, participating King Juan Carlos at the Bribon, Prince Felipe at the CAM and Infant Cristina at the Azur de Puig.
